How about a .SELF file, that appears as an icon in MM if a PSX disc is present? I'm not sure whether that would work or not though.

and update to 200.06 multiman to continue to copy ps3 back ups
to external drive right ?????????

Hi deank i am getting a problem in multiman i have updated to version 02.08.06 all functions are working fine for me now the problem i am getting is that the copy function is disable in settings menu when i try to enable it it ask for a pin code i enter the default pin code found in beginers guide i.e 0000 but it did not work i am stucked and cannot copy games to my external or internal drives i dont want to use any other backup manager please can u tell me a way how do i enable this copy funtion more over resetting the pin code your early response in this matter will be highly appreciatred

I've got some problems with multiMan 02.08.06! It doesn't want to start any AVI from my usb stick. Even showtime player doesn't start at all. From the fillemanager in multiMan no AVI starts, too. Black screen and freeze! What should I do?

Open "options.bin" with a text editor and check the PIN code. Also check when you enter the pin code with the onscreen-keyboard that you switch to "DIGIT" input mode (use SELECT button).

Update showtime or check the "Showtime for multiMAN" thread.

2 different programs certainly makes sense to me, I find the Game backup more worthwhile than the BluRay, purely because of the wireless FTP times to transfer back and forth.

i did what every u said but i cannot find Pin in option.ini file i also try to search it and read the whole thing but could'nt find it please help / suggest

option.ini is NOT option.bin

more over there no file like option.bin only 1 file 1 found that is option.ini i have downloaded the full version 02.08.00 please helpme out

option.bin is not in the rar file but in the multiman pkg. So you can find your option.bin in the multiman installed directory on your PS3.
