There are legitimate problems in the USA, and the first time, in a long time, that people actually take to the streets en-masse to fight back against the corprotacracy and corruption, you say they're "*****ing" and dismiss the whole movement. Please see this: http://i.imgur.com/f0ym0.png
Does it somehow make their points less valid because they aren't risking their lives to make them? That seems to be the argument you're making, and I just can't follow it.

Im not saying it is bad or good Indeed that is not the point im making, rather the point i was trying to make, was the "abuse" is relatively minor in comparison to the rest of the world. |

Considering that their actual demands are in direct conflict with the things they write on their signs, NO...I don't support them. If they were occupying the fed, it would be a different story.

Well, we can sit through the cycle and watch it happen generation after generation, or we can take to the streets and try to fight it. I guess I'm an idealist (I know I am), but the USA wouldn't even exist if it weren't for idealist who didn't like the status-quo across the ocean. I support anyone getting off their lazy American asses and actually doing something, organized or not. |

The fact is that without government you don't have anarchy...you have capitalism, which becomes a form of government in itself. You might think communism was an answer, and it might be in very small communities...but in the end communism creates powerful people and power makes corruption, and it ends up being the same as capitalism, just with different lies for the people. In capitalism you tell them they are working themselves to death with little to show for it for the sake of themselves and their families...and communism you tell them it is for the good of everyone. In reality, both systems are designed to benefit the people who make the rules, and to exploit everyone else in whatever ways possible. All you can ever hope to do is to make tiny changes...and no one is ever going to make any positive changes by attacking the symptoms of problems while ignoring the causes. Yes, wall street is a casino and the house always wins...but why are normal people forced to play this rigged game? Because the federal reserve (not a federal organization BTW) keeps inflating the money supply so that even when money gets 2% interest per year in the bank, you still have less value in the account every single year...and because the federal retirement programs that we are forced to pay for will not be there when we need them. The truth is I don't have a solution...but I know for sure that a wallstreet-backed wallstreet sit-in for the purposes of reducing taxes on the 2% who own 98% of the wealth while increasing taxes on the rest is not a step in the right direction. The fact that people actually go to protests that are against themselves isn't even surprising tho...they have been voting for the bipartison party for over a hundred years. |

Dexia Bank is falling atm and the Belgium and France governments have split the bank in a good and bad part. Tax payers have to pay for the bad part...
[cynical mode] the chief executive of the Dexia bank had his rightful 600.000 euro bonus 2 months back... [/cynical mode] http://www.deredactie.be/cm/vrtnieuw.../news/1.998470

For the Communism comments... The world has never seen a true Communist government. Any time, any at all, that people try to enact a Communist government, someone gets power hungry and takes over and stalls it at the socialistic stage. Communism does not have a single ruler or ruling party, everyone is supposed to be equal to one another. Sounds great on paper, but it cannot be executed because there will always be that one d1ck who takes over and ruins it for everyone. I.e. Joseph Stalin is a great example of this.

Occcupy Wall Street protestors are nothing more than spoiled, free loading, whiney suburbanites who don't understand economics.
