I assume you mean 02.07/02.08 - just don't bother deleting it - just install the updates on top of your multiMAN installation and continue as normal. I did that on a few occasions and I never had a problem.

Hi dean 1st of i am very thankful to you and all other members for helping me out
i am still stuck in the pin code problem and have a few question
1. i followed the procedure to locate option.bin file in my ps3 through multiman file manager and i found it but now the problme is that how do i copy this file to open in a text editor in my pc for i took option.bin properties it was giving me some option i open in hex editor but couldn't find what i am looking for please tell me how do i copy this option.bin file into my usb
2. i use to enter the pin code as u have asked in digit mode by pressing select it give me the same error "incorrect pin"
3. can we play ps2 games on mulitman as well?
ps1 games are working fine

a little help would be highly appreciated.

copy the file over to your computer via ftp. then open it up and change the code. also copy it back via ftp.

sorry if i ask this question again ... my MM version was 2.08.00 , now MM 2.08.10 was released ... can i directly update to newer ?? 2 more , i still not understand about "Direct Disc Access" .. what is it ??? i have a PS1 CD , can i natively play to ps3 ??? so, not to backup again ??? thanks .. sorry for a lot of question ..

i have tried this before (2.07.xx) you need to write the PS3_GAME (folder) PS3_DISC.SFB (file) of your backup to the root of your media (i used BD-RW) so it will show in Game XMMB, tried loading it but it just black screen not sure if it was because of the media i used, will try again with DVDR and BDR. thank you so much for your hard work dean

This is all great, i'm glad that ps1 backups are working.

I had one issue with the regular ps1 support with the playstation. I have the gameshark disc and it would load fine, but when you disc swap to the actual game it would just stay on a black screen.

can anyone verify that the gameshark works or is there any other cheat method available?

also, I don't have a disc drive in my cfw ps3, it died during a lightning storm. so i'm patiently awaiting iso support or a method of getting the iso onto the ps3 in the same format that multiman saves the backups.
