All PS3s support backward compatibility of original PS1 games since launch, so there is no need to use mm to run them.

A little disappointed, a jump from 2.08.10 to 2.09.00 I was excited about there being huge updates and new features, but no Should have made this 2.08.20

So let me get this straight, because admittedly I haven't been following the news, does this mean with Direct Disc Access mode we can play PS3 backups that we have burned onto DVD-R discs? And perhaps then, even PS3 backups we've burned onto BD-R discs? If so, this would be a fairly tremendous leap forward.
