I actually noticed that the other day, and I made a custom static image background that is just solid black, with the original Playstation logo in the lower right corner. I made so that it shows as the default background image when you have a PS1 disc inserted. When you change modes, it swipes the logo across the screen, and it looks really cool.

I vote to keep it, or maybe make it an option.

@dean , any chance of updating source I believe you are making major changes to the code; I currently have my own modded version which is up to date to version 02.08.05
Does this version i am using have the bugs mentioned about copying from disc; Is there anything to be worried about by this version? Keep up all the good work ; I have stoppped posting my mods here outa respect. Do you think there is anyway to implement psx from hdd0 , maybe a 2nd virtua drive strictly cue & bin set to always direct boot ,not messing with xmb or bdplayer? An idea probably already had

It finally detected my AVCHDs @deank

I dont how but all I did is move one of my AVCHD to a GAMES folder,
then Multiman scanned and recognized it.

However if I moved the previous AVCHD out from the GAMES folder to the root of my PS3 and restart it, it doesnt recognize it again.

I think its a bug in the multiman application.
either that or my PS3 has a problem.

@deank I found the problem....
It seems that multiman doesnt scan my external harddrive including my AVCHDs
because it doesnt have a GAMES folder on the root of the external HDD.

I tried a couple of times with an empty GAMES folder on the root of my external HDD,
And it scanned my AVCHDs on the first run.

However if I delete the GAMES folder and restart my PS3 and multiman,
it doesnt detect or even scan my external HDD.

It really isnt a big problem, but Im glad that it detects my AVCHDs now.

Could anyone offer any help I've burned a couple of games to disc Call of duty 3 works fine burned to a dvd- dl battle vs chess dvd-r works fine motorstorm apocalypse to bd-r black screen. and I've updated to 02.09.01 from xmb any help would be appreciated

Yes... with 02.09.01 if you launch the game from "Start Game from Disc" icon... Currently it may not work with all games, but soon...

Would you please install the update from the first post and try your setup again. It should clear the issue with AVCHD when no /GAMES folder is present. Let me know when you test it.

No. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO TORTURE yourself by using the dongle? If you want to stick with 3.41 why don't you just install Rogero/Rebug/Hermes CFW 3.41 and get rid of the dongle. You'll have all but without the stupid power+eject thing. Also - if you don't have incompatible hardware (like 3rd party controllers) - go straight to 3.55.
