I think it should be turned on automatically if your start multiMAN.
Check it in the options: ![]() PC Network setting Ip Address: 168.9.0.101 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 PS3 Network setting IP Address: 168.9.0.102 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Router: 168.9.0.101 Primary DNS: 168.9.0.101 Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0 |

This is a noobish question, but when i enter system settings i multiman it says IP ADDRESS: NOT AVAILABLE, and when i try blackb0x it says error 8001009. Im new to this whole ps3 stuff. Also, im connetcting ps3 and pc directly via ethernet non-crossover cable, and using FileZilla. Cheers!

looks like you do not have an ip address... try setting it manually from internet configuration-personalized-manual ip, set an easy one, as gateway use 255.255.255.0, and dns use somethin random... then you should be okay

Ill try, and respond.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* ok, i setup my connection manualy through XMB, nework settings, ip 168.0.1.1 sbmask 255.255.255.0, else 1.0.0.0, everything else on manual, but still getting IP not avail. Is there an option in multiMAN where i can set my ip? And i guess the error on blackb0x is also ip missing related. Last edited by veljko4u; 10-08-2011 at 09:04 AM. |

lol, I'm sure 168.0.1.1 is not you PS3's ip address...go into the PS3's Network Settings>Settings and Connection Status List and find the real IP.
![]() btw, there's no need to add it manually. use the default, less headaches.... should be in the 192.168 range.
