spoof means it prevents updating. It tells the $ony update servers you are 3.72 (while you are actually on 3.55) and don't need to update.
It doesn't give access to PSN....

You can get xLink Kai, but you can only play on games that support LAN, and only with other people using it.

What if i have a cfw 3.55 ps3 and all i want to do is use the internet for netflix. Can i still use netflix on my cfw 3.55 ps3?

I already have netflix on my cfw 3.55 ps3. Couls i use it? I know you cant use psn, but what about netflix?

I now you cannot watch BBC iPlayer anymore as that requires a FW update C**NTS!!
