It is worth mentioning that you can backup couple of games on a single BD-R disc and later restore them to your PS3 hdd (not to be used with discBOOT app, but just as a backup).

I just do that with Marvel Vs Capcom 3, restore it from dvd to int hdd and trying to launch as a backup I get the same error, "the game data is corrupted. Please quit the game, and delete the gama data file for MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3". What do think is happen??

Did you already tried with your friend's game?

Is there any way a Disk with Multiple games could be burned and used?
As an aside could not a disk with multiple Games on it just have its path added to the options file causing them to show up as usual? Would they be playable like this?

And As always your continued work on your projects is greatly appreciated. You do Great work.

Ok, I tested MvsC3 and it didn't work. It seems some games do some additional checks. In this case MvsC3 'sees' it is not started directly from the disc (DVD) and thus expects to find some game data already present on the HDD.

Another thing is that some games use UDF and not ISO9660 file system, so while burning with imgburn you'll get a warning:

If such thing happens you'll have to cancel and make sure compilation is set to UDF. In other cases UDF+ISO9660 should be selected.

All in all - some more tweaks will be needed to enhance compatibility and I'll think about that.

In your case you'll have to delete the (Disc) game from XMB. I explained what happened above.

I honestly can't believe the questions of some people here.

"Is this an app for PS3?"
"can you create a pkg with background music and screenshot only I know but can I make this request please"

I know the majority of people aren't PS3 hackers or anything, but come on, all you gotta do is read... and use your common sense.

Also, thanks deank for this. Will test on some DVD+R DL discs.

Yes, thanks for informing me. In the first post I said that it may not work for all games out there and may be some things may have to be changed. I'll see about that.

Also, reporting 'backup burned on *** media doesn't work' is not that helpful, unless you add information about the game you tried.
