I'm currently a student working on getting my chemical engineering degree and also getting a minor in business. It's not my dream job but they're making a killing and in need. My dream job is to become a pilot. But I'm pursuing it as a hobby.

I've got my own little IT business geared for home user and small businesses. As well I work for an Insurance/Mutual Fund company doing IT work and studying for my LLQP and further getting licenced in Mutual Funds.

I Just started in my new career last Monday. I am an electronic technician. I troubleshoot and fix automobile PCB's. I like it and will only get more experience and move up. I am hopeful that I will be able to provide for my son the way i want to. To be honest I went to school for electronics for a couple reasons. Electronics are in everything, Tired of having meaningless jobs, and because I had Linux on my PS3 because it was allowed and Sony took it from us. It was my very first introduction to linux. I didn't update and vowed to learn Linux and help crack the PS3. I even called them up and told them that was my intention.That is how I eventually found this awesome site! I still have this same dream to get better at learning something I can do to help, but really have no direction so i just try to pick up random things. I really want to learn a relevant program language. I was a natural at basic and a mathematical beast.

I am currently a student at P.I.T (lol not M.I.T). I also help fix computers and used to work at a highschool as a tech assistant. I am more into hardware as that is where I believe the power is, and continue to learn computer languages as I believe that is where the flexibility is. Currently Learning Basic, JavaScript, C, C++, C#. My class during school only teaches Javascript but I want to eventually begin Java. Far more along in basic then any other language at this moment (maybe because its considered the easiest), Can only write simple CLI programs in C, Barely touched C++ as friend is trying to teach it to me, and trying to figure out C# myself as I did with basic. My dream Job is designing processors and other electronic/computer components and move into robotics and eventually development in AI LOL, Dream BIG or don't dream at all I guess so my lifes goal is to change the world. , A bit too big?
