dude, I did not say it works with older version of MM. I said the P$N games works fine as well as the new releases of duplex.

ok im sorry. i had you confused with someone else. marvel vs capcom 3 should work. ico maybee only form internal. and what are the other 2 games your trying to play. you said you tried 4. any way have a look at the compatability list.

I only got an internal HDD and today I've finally run a game successfully which is Heavy Rain Move Edition, but for the the other games still got the beauty black screen issue and these games are:-

- Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
- ICO & Shadow of the Clouses HD
- Castlevania Lords of Shadow
- Dante's Inferno
- God of War 3

to all PS3Hax's members and especially Kamel, let me know your feedback on the following questions:-

(1) Has anyone used the 'UPDATE' feature in MultiMAN for each game? if yes, have u ever faced issues with it ? does it effect the system update?

(2) Do u usually use the 'Access Permission' feature in MM for each game?

(3) Is there a patch for each game in order to make it run perfectly and to get rid of the blackscreen issues?

(4) Are there any differences between backup managers Apps in running backup games?

(5) Does multiMAN or any other backup manager runs differently with CFWs such as kmeaw and JFW ?

1. i usally dont update unless it is necissary. and i use the compatablility list to tell see here

2. if all else fails then yes

3. not all games require a patch. but some do to run. also again see this

4. multiMAN will run almost all games if playable

5. kmeaw runs everyting fine with multiman as that is what @deank uses to test with multiMAN. and as of now nobody knows how jfw will work until it is or if it is ever released.

Hi im really new here and i think this is the proper topic to ask! so i just bought a ps3 about 4 months ago it works great i have played FFXIII immediately and it is installed in my internal hard disk. The one who sold me the ps3 told me that i can play some games without a disc so i tried it i boot up multiman then execute FFXIII it works fine but when i quit the game and re-enter multiman there is just black screen and freezed, so i have to hard reset my ps3. so i tried the same procedure but with a disc it works fine and didnt freeze... so can i play without a disc and reopen the multiman without freezing??... when i read your guide it was like a whole new world to me... my MULTIMAN is super old version its still 1.17 but i have CFW 3.55 but dont have (BDEMU2 - thats why i cant play killzone 2 with my External-HD because its telling me its "SPLIT" like my FFXIII so i have to install it in my ps3 Internal) sorry for the long explanation

-but i want to know if i can directly update my Multiman 1.17 to the Latest version today? and will this resolve my problems? i have a 160gb PS3 and 500 gb External... is it ok that my external HD is almost always connected to my ps3? im thinking that the game i wuill play i just install it to the internal and transfer vice versa. if im on the wrong thread or topic kindly redirect me... yes you can update multiman to the latest version with no issues. now as for the rest I'm not sure i understand what your asking. >.< please explain to me a little bit better.

Hey thank you very much! that solve my problem. the other question is how can i split games on my ps3 without installing them to my internal HD? like my killzone is in my External HD.. every time i execute it in multiman there is a split version that pops up then telling me that it needs to be installed in the Internal? or installing BDEMU2 will solve this?
