I don't know where to get them.
I don't think these 2 files is necessary.
When I succeed in depcypting disc game EBOOT, it also has these errors.
I think I miss something else.

how to make a idps file?
I make a txt file and copy "00000001008E0006" in it and save the txt file.
Then i rename the tct file to "idps".
Is that right?

The IDPS file must be a raw binary file like all of the other key files. One way of creating it would be by typing your IDPS into a hex editor. Careful about posting your IDPS: Sony likely remembers who has what IDPS.

Now more than ever I regret my haste in hacking the PS3 and not creating the initial backup of my licence data.

I'll just have to wait for someone to release Rock Band and Guitar Hero DLC into the wild, anyone? . . . . Please?

I didn't mean any offence by my first post =)
This is amazing work you have done
Some of us can however already decrypt the demos and just remove the protection with relative ease (type3).

This was a test on Dead Nation (I know the key error doesn't matter)
-----------------------------------------------------
rebug @ps3 vil:~/Desktop$ unself2 eboot.self eboot.elf
priv file: /home/rebug/.ps3//app-priv-356 (ERROR)
priv file: /home/rebug/.ps3//app-priv-102f (ERROR)
Error decrypting metadata: No such file or directory
------------------------------------------------------
same goes for unself

I will test a few more though-out the day

Also I think I can come up with a sneaky way to get a few newer games (DLC) working with this as long as I can get it to decrypt the eboots
I'll fill you in on that later if I can get this working

No offense taken. Can you use gdb or add some printf to the npdrm functions to see what the exact problem is? I'm interested in hearing your other ideas. I prefer IRC for development over forums. I hang out in gitbrew's #otheros. There are lots of knowledgeable people there and they allow connections from Tor. If I'm not in the channel, just shout my name. I have really good hearing.

Won't you need to have bought the GAME/DLC for this to work? And as some DLC might only be available since 3.72 -> You don't have a correct act.dat file -> How are you going to decrypt it? Also why are the names of the PSN game downloads so complex? Are these used to generate the act.dat and rif file or from where are these activation files received, straight from Sony?
