Hi,

Thank for great job you have done for us.
I have small question.

I was able to make ntfs HDD to show up in file manager.
When I click on large mkv file > 4GB, It cach to internal HDD.

But problem is it take 5min to cach file. There is anyway to make it cach only 10MB like for video streaming and play it while continuously caching?

Is this possible?

Thank

@kivawolf :
the problem is that multiMAN stop running when it launches Showtime. As Showtime does not support NTFS, multiMAN caches it first to the internal HDD. So it has to copy the whole file first, then start Showtime.

However, I have read that Showtime supports multi-parts RAR files. So you can store your >4GB movie in an uncompressed multi-part RAR, and play the movie on an external HDD formatted in FAT32.

Hi,

Yes, I am aware of RAR file in showtime. I want the movies file to be compatible to many device as much as possible. I use the same HDD for samsung TV. and other media player. I guess the best way is split mkv using mkvtoolnix and convert HDD to FAT32. Do you know any good free software to convert ntfs to FAT32?

Thank

Help - movies on data disc no longer working in multiman and showtime.

i updated from multiman version 2.08.10 to version 02.09.01.

i have MKV files burned to dvd+r and dvd+r dl and they were working fine before the up-date. i know its not a bad a laser on the bd drive cause it still picks up the all the discs types in xmb. multiman and showtime no longer recognize the disc like they once did.
