One tip when playing with .sfo
Note that the system stores a copy of the last launched content (param.sfo pic0.png and im not sure if some more) as a "fast access" to this content You need to reboot the console and run another content to "refress" the cached files and to "force" the system to load the new (edited or replaced) ones |

It's not the method, it's that IF Angry Birds show up on XMB and after the name it doesnt have that icon/logo, PS3 thinks it's a PS3 game and handles it as a PS3 game.

I assume the Cobra PSP emulator is coded to mount PSPISO's from HDD0/PSPISO. Shouldn't there need to be a hook and redirect in the firmware somehow to this location? I assume this is what the cobra firmware/backup mananger is already doing for all ISO types. If the iso.edat.bin is really launching the emulator then you should see a PSP ISO mounted from that location, given that the correct redirects are in place. I think the .edat encryption is only being used to prevent the file from being manually decrypted. |
