I don't buy any game that I can't play on CFW...and I doubt I can play that game with CFW. Since they are using DRM to lock these games to OFW 3.7X, they really need to read the article below:

yeah i got it backed up on 360. its pretty decent. cant stop playin fifa 12 online for cash atm tho lol, but it will def. be gettin a good run once im done with fifa and rage.

Some people call it clunky, or say the controls are no good. It just takes time to get used to.

As for Demon Souls being a better game, I am still on the fence about that. I think they did a pretty good job at bringing this game to a wider audience.

I was horrible at Demons Souls, so I dont think I'll get Dark Souls, but my cousin is getting Dark Souls so Imma try it out on his PS3.

I'm not a PC gamer, and I would generally agree...if the people selling it don't think it is worth porting to PC (and there is no exclusivity agreement locking it to a specific console), then how good can it be? Of course there are exceptions like RDR.

Demon's Souls does take a little getting used to, I was in the game shop today and one dude brought Dark back because he couldn't defeat the big ass monster with the hilt of the sword. LOL, Which do you think is harder Demon's or Dark

I agree. They did do a good job at bringing the game to a larger audience. However, IMO, that is about the only thing "new" about Dark Souls. Everything else is just a reinvented or rehashed concept of Demon's Souls. There are still FPS problems, and they made status alignments completely OVERPOWERED.

I would say the greatest thing about Dark Souls compared to Demon's Souls is how they fixed the never ending PVP battles by limiting healing items.

I was expecting something with more flare. What do I expect from a game that got published by Namco. They just wanted something successful that could be packaged.

Well, first off; the game is made by ATLUS, and only ported to other countries by NAMCO. Also, ATLUS is known for making only console games, and no PC versions/ports.

As for that guy returning the game because he could not beat the first boss with the broken sword... I remember I tried to take him on like that too, and I was like WTF. I died, but I came back with a better understanding of the game.

I never made it that far on Demon Souls. Kind of far, but not that far. I had done quite a bit, but got seriously frustrated with the game after losing thousands of souls due purely to my stupidity, and rushing along to recover my dead body. I have a feeling once I finish this game, I will want to go back and complete Demon Souls.

Personally, I like Dark Souls a little better. I love this one huge world aspect, and it just seems a little easier to me... but that could be because I was so used to Demon Souls.

Dark Souls definitely takes some getting used. Actually, it takes a lot of getting used to. But once you do, I am sure one will be happy with the controls. Some people say they like hard games, just not this kind of hard core game play. I think that if they keep at it, it can become very addicting, and people will actually start to appreciate just how hard it is.

I am loving this game!!! I faced a big creature, with not much room to fight him, and beat him the first time I saw him... boy was my heart beating fast by the time I killed him. And the first time another player invaded my world, and I whooped his ass, I yelled at the screen, "Get some b****!" I was basically shaking afterwords (almost died two or three time at least during that confrontation).

I think everyone should give it a shot. It is new breed of game entirely, and if you just give it time, it will open up to you, and reward you with a beautifully made game.
