think its a bit later than that date , but you cant play them 2 games , but maybe in time . fifa could be sooner than you think but its not 100%

as carldenning said it's probably later as games with OFW3.60 in them didn't come out as soon as the FW was made : ) but, rage and fifa 12 are not playable atm. You could always get a progSkeet and switch between OFW and CFW,but that would mean soldering stuff to your console & buy latest games... I suggest you to w8 fo a while, if we are lucky PNM project will get us to a new CFW, or maybe DH is for once saying the truth and JFW will be released... who knows...

I bit the bullet and bought a new laser (let just hope that the problem with my ps3).

But now that leads me to another question.

After replacing the laser will i need to reload kmeaw 3.55 before the drive will work?

The reason i ask is because i run kmeaw through MFW Builder and ticked:

“Allow firmware update of console with broken blu-ray drive”

“Remove BdpRevoke (ENABLING THIS WILL REMOVE BLU-RAY DRIVE FIRMWARE)”

“Remove BD firmware (ENABLING THIS WILL REMOVE BLU-RAY DRIVE FIRMWARE)”


It does look i would need to from reading it

hiya i didnt see ya last question , yeah just reinstall kmeaw one with out the bypass and install it threw recovery mode

The problem is that i wont know if the laser has fixed it without reloading kmeaw, and i wont be able to load kmeaw (without the bypass) without knowing the is drive working

if it fixes it ,it will install with out any probems but if getting a new laser didnt fix it then all will happen is a update loop . i think you iver install the by pass fimware again threw recovery mode to kick it out of update or fomate hdd and and install bypass fimware

correct those games cannot be played atm.
