Music:
i have almost 10k songs on my drive, but only use spotify.
why?

Because spotify requires premium to listen to a song more than 5 times.
spotify requires me to be connected to the internet. sometimes i CAN'T be connected to the internet, sometimes i take a jog with my ipod, wanting some people, but sometimes i use my android phone i'f im expecting a call. so i COULD use itunes and buy music, but then i'd have to have 2 devices in my pocket. at this point, i see my music piracy as moot, i buy premium for my spotify all the time, i have paid for my music.

Movies:
Oh yeah, i download alot of movies.. and i mean alot... why shouldn't i? i have too many VHS casettes lying around. i dont have a VHS player anymore.
and i had to sell ALOT of DVD's to gamestop just to clear some out so i could get some more space for all the disney dvd's we are buying for our girl. (not just disney, random cartoons also.)
oh yeah, and blu-ray is the new thing, and i like HD movies, so, im actually buying some of those. so, i think i have YET to download more than i have bought. i have paid for my movies. (i also go to the cinema quite often.)

Games:
No, just no you big greedy game corporations... you are not getting my money AGAIN when i want to play crash bandicoot. i had a mad library of games for many of the old systems, NES and up. and im not paying you again on your damn virtualware store or wherever you are selling them, i have ALL your games now, even those i never bought, just because im mad at you for not GIVING us these games. why not give them to use, see how popular they are then do a remake in glorious HD\3D? putting on a random zsnes filter and adding achievments does not count.

i have paid for WoW since the very first day, and i dont even play it that much. i've been playing league of legends now for some years, thats free2play with microtransactions, they got money from me. but regarding AAA titles.. well... i try them all. so few are worth spending any money on. but i DO spend money on it if its worth it.

i have but one regret; i still haven't bought RAGE, because i have no money to spend on games this month. but soon, very soon i'll buy it for steam, and get some DLC to boot.

piracy itself, is wrong, very wrong. but think of what i said here. im sure many of you have paid your dues. and im sure alot of you are underaged kids with limited money. as a father, i can understand that your parents can't buy you every single "SUPER GAME" that comes out. the companies are churning them out just to make money.

i really wish i could come up with a solution for this piracy problem.

On a side note, I woudn't advise you buying Rage full price.

As for piracy, who the **** cares. Honestly? I pirate, I buy a lot of games (especially nowadays).

I'll continue to pirate and buy well deserved games and support those company (Valve, CDPROJECT to name a few)

It depends really, I pirate songs, and sometimes movies, I have alot of vhs tapes, dvd's and bluray dvd's. But I do buy games, I understand some people though, on some games it is easier to get a game when you pirate, than to pay. If you pay for a game on pc, alot of times it takes FOREVER to download, and even worse alot of games have DRM. If you pirate there is no DRM, and most of the time you can download it quicker. On pc sometimes I used to(I don't have a gaming pc anymore) pirate a game just to test it, and if I liked it I would buy it. Especially now, they might make it against the law to record gameplay of a game...

Yes it would count as piracy. You bought the game for the PS3 console. You didn't buy the game for the PC. If you bought the game for PS3 and backed it up thorough MultiMAN, then no.

EDIT: If you owned the CD for both, then no.

Just a small thing that came to mind. I wouldn't allow it. Let's just say for example. You owned/created CoD: MW12? You made it for PS3/Xbox and so on. Would you allow someone to buy the CD for PS3, play it, then just simply download it off the internet and play it on the XBOX?
