btw do you think is there a way or chance to play psx2 backups on ps3 with emotion engine models on multiman with the same way?I also think there is no need to EE coz there are ps2 games officially announced without changing on PSN working on every models which indicates EE is not a must have hardware..???and also someone in this forum declares that he can play ps2 games on ps3 in a service mode ?????

That is why I asked to only try the partitioning part, the gentoo part couldn't be done anyway because the partitioning part will fail in the first place

I have checked the ps2 games with the service mode thread, but I understand there are to many people who can't use this method so I skipped to try. I also still have my Fat PS2 connected to my TV, if I need it I can use it (after I take the dust of it)
