i still get on psn with 3.72 it never told me to update but when i go to system update via internet the upate 3.73 is there..wtf..not that im complaining. lol

If you type PS3ITA W/PSN into google the 1st article is a pup that they realeased not so long ago on dashhacks and had to take it down again but left the tools there , im not spreading any lies check it out yourselfs

This method was blocked a long time ago, you CANNOT get on PSN with 3.55.

Might sony be ready to stamp out downgrading all toghether? ps after 3.70 I sold all my games (my dad's ps3 cant sell it) my bro has ncaa 12 but thats it I like xbox 360 better

sony have already won a long time ago...

also the reason for the frequent firmware updates is that with newer games they require the most recent update, the more sony update the firmware the less likely chance you will be able to play newer games that you have brought for your consoles if you are stuck on 3.55 cfw, sony do know what they are doing unfortunately.

also frequently releasing firmware updates puts off hackers from making any future cfw because of how frequent the firmware updates are, hope that makes sense.

why the hell did you do that? when newer games come out and you can't play them (uncharted 3 is a good example) and if you update you will loose all your games on your external, what will you do then?

My OFW PS3 is still on 3.72 and I can still log in on PSN.
