I would try two things here After backing up to PC and SD cars.
1) downgrade as they say and install 3.55OFW. (If I brick then flash my back up)
2) as the guys above me said. Downgrade to 3.41 or lower and upgrade to 3.55. And install kmeaw or other CFW.
I do believe that the e3_downgrade.bin is the 3.55 Fe but im not sure. I was hoping maybe someone will find a way to flash 3.55OFW with it and release tha. Easier to just jailbreak ofw

I googled and read that its doable with teensy and progskeet so i dont know what is so special about the E3 flasher any more.It used to be better than the rest all before it was even released and now it doesnt even let you load your favourite cfw once downgraded. Lets just hope that the improved version that they said they are going to release is better

Man ,i don't have to downgrade but if i had to i would be very unhappy right about now = no CFW . This does not look good to me no more sorry guys, just my opinion.. I feel bad for the ones who updated ->(4 real) a honest (accident ..

I mean if you downgrade all you can do is have no real control over your PS3 .You cant install any CFW 355 but theirs ? =( SUX BIG TIME ?) It sure does sound like this . I am trying to understand all you get is install multiman ,no access to hard drive or any other hombrew apps no, emulators & all homebrew in general ? How can you install multiman if you downgrade to OFW 355 = It has no install package icon ??? Without install package manager icon you are screwed .

I just don't get & now i am lost .I am glad as FUKKKK i did not update = I will never update & i really don't understand WTF IN hell were others thinking who had a choice ? updated WTF ? You would would choose garbage Sonys OFW over the ultimate CFW PS3 . This would not be a hard decision at all. I would say FUC OFW any day. I am having a blast on my CFW PS3 . ( My OFW PS3 is still unused for 2 months now )

I lost interest in my OFW that is how much i love CFW & if the E3 FLASHER don't allow the CFW to be installed = I would say FK that & find another PS3 on 355

Before I would have said Yes, now I am not sure of anything to do with this.

Like I said before, they is zero reason that they do not have a well worded information in any well used language, so make your own gues at why they are being so 'iffy' on speaking in plain English (Swap English for whatever language suits you best)
