This downgrader sounds of minimal value if it forces dependency on their own Backup Manager and bars CFW usage. Its just another FW that doesn't allow the user full control of their PS3, barely different than being on OFW.
I call Bait and Switch on E3! |

I gave up waiting. Buying a risky flasher, plus additional HD to hold the second FW, plus a complex and risky method each time i want to switch... Instead i spent a bit more: 2nd ps3. Safe switching from OFW to CFW, another dual shock and no possibility of brick. Comeon guys. How much is the e3 flasher plus the new hd, and the ugly external board, and the even more ugly sata station... two external HDs plugged to the console if you want to play CFW games... could it be worse? Second ps3. Period.

The E3 Flasher was once looking like a great product. Now this thing is a useless pain in the ass. Even the multiMAN program on their site is very outdated.

They keep making changes; they never said that you can't use rebug or anything with OtherOS support before...and what happened to their estimated shipping date of the 13th (that was announced on the 14th)? It seems like we should have lots of users writing their own reviews by now if they actually shipped?
ProgSkeet: Confirmed working Teensy: Confirmed Working E3 Flasher: The only proof we have that it is not vaporware is that vaporware gets new features over time, while the E3 loses features over time. |

Dude, shup... Quit bringing the scene with your depressing rant. You act like Sony has found a way to take back the keys. WE WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO SIGN HOMEBREW FOR 3.55!! As for installing it if you can't figure that out your not much of a "hacker", I would go as far to say your not even a modder. Installing pkgs on full retail 3.73 isn't even hard. Before you trolls ask me for my method **** off and google it.
Also I thought we covered this **** last update when it was brought up lv2 patching and the like. |
