Yeah. I got my E3 today and. Affter update my 3.55 Ps3 to 3.70 i install E3 flasher just for test befire start service. The install got nothing wrong. I sucess read my Nor backup To SD card. Affter that i flow the tutorial in E3 site. Copy downgrade file to sd card turn ps3 on then press start. The proccess led turn blue 7/8 then my ps3 auto turn off. I think that's good and try to turn on my ps3. The ps3 turn 2 "beep" then yellow --> red light. Got my ps3 brick and can flash back to stock. Now i will try with progskeet to restore my ps3 now. SO what's wrong with E3 ??? did they deeply test before release ??? the IC clip ever to hard to put in some old ps3 ... S*** E3 for my brick ps3. Sorry for my bad english

The clip only works on NOR models, not older NAND PS3's.. If you forced it onto one of them you could have damaged it and that could do more damage to a console.

NAND PS3's are models CECHA-CECHG (there's a sticker on the back that ends in the relevant code). NOR models are CECHH upwards and includes all slims. There are certain models that cannot be downgraded AFAIK, so post the model number of yours.

If you've a proper backup of your NOR have you tried restoring that using the E3? That should return the PS3 to 3.70 or whatever it was on.

Did you have a game disk in the PS3 drive at the time? I think that takes priority over USB.

There's no need to get a Progskeet also, unless your clip is damaged (which only E3 have anyway) you just need to try restore what was there if you can.

I think you are meant to be on 3.72 for it to work right (although I might be wrong). Have you tried Rogero CFW?

yeah i know my version is NOR. I even can turn on ps3 so how cai i restoring E3 ?? It's need to turn on ps3 to take the power

Also, you say you're using SD card, have you tried USB? Did you only take one backup of your original NOR using E3?

yes i back up 2 time. how to do with USB ??? connect USB port to E3 just show the kenel update Disk

i'm in 3.7 now so sure i can't read 3.55 bios so i try backup and that's problem i got lucky the bios i read with e3 when i update my ps3 to 3.70 correct so i sucess flash back to 3.70 with progskeet. will try downgrade with E3 tomorrow so tire

Same thing happended to me! F*cking flasher. Now I have to find a teensy++ or a progskeet. And I have no money!
