I've been trying to put my ps3 in factory service mode for the last few hours in attempts to remarry the bluray board. Yet I can't figure out what I need to do to the dongle so that it will do it. It's a cheapo jailbreak clone, it comes up at atusb162 or something close. Maybe it is incapable I dunno. If so can anyone recommend an inexpensive reprogrammable dongle thanks.

ps. I d/l the atmel 3.4.2 or whatever and when I try to flash it says that verify has failed. Thanks again.

I don't know if I'm using the right hex file or not. This thing didn't come with much in the way of instructions. Also the link I need to the hex file on their website isn't working. Btw this is the exact link I bought it from...

Btw according to the website, it says it's programmable but I think I'm done wasting time with it, could someone refer me to a website, link or something for a decent jb device? Thanks.
