It is being sold at a local Game store in Indonesia. It is not being shiped internationally. (probly for legal reasons). I think this may have origin with recent mulitiman developments. The makers of this device may have found a way to play modified blu ray disks using the new mulitiman burnt disk option.

well unless
1º the pkg that launches the game from the hdd, is signed using 3.66 keys that is not possible.
2º if we somehow sign the files we only have two ways of doing it, using the blacklisted keys we own, which doesn't do anything on firmwares higher than 3.55, or fake sign your stuff that won't work unless its a debug machine.

so unless you can launch a pkg on a 3.66 machine it won't work, this obviously assuming that it uses the same method that dean found.

After reading 33 pages of forum posts at kaskus it looks like the dongle is real, they don't like white people that much, people making the dongle are not happy it is being advertised outside Indonesia, are afraid of legal repercussions, and it can be easily replicated by other dongle manufactures.

It was more of a generalization of the forum members not the manufacturers.
The makers just are concerned about selling their stock before the clones hit the market.
