To all the people who think it's simply an usb with a MFW in it, it's not.
It's the exact same as Cobra. You install a MFW that enables use of their dongle, and turn on the PS3 with the dongle on. If Cobra did it, I don't see why those guys couldn't (I bet they based this on the Cobra MFW anyway).

Reverse will came 3 days after some dev got one. No BD disks and no dongle will be necessary

I like the Cobra USB guys better than anyone, they go straight to the point. No videos, no pictures, no bullsh*t. When they have a new release / update, they just post it on their website.

SeeYa!

GaryOPA has confirmed this to be true. I do trust what he says from back in the psx-scene days.

http://www.ps3crunch.net/forum/threa...3.60-PS3-games

If it really is true how the hell did they bypass 3.60+ encryption, the keys must be part of the exploit surely??

True but it's not like Gary to put his name to something if he's not convinced.

I dunno I'm kinda believing it now. Not that I like the hack in its current format, BD burner BD discs etc, but if it is true it won't be long before CFW and playing off of a hard drive.

people who saying this fake over and over are really annoying
nobody knows if it real or not, so everyone should wait for evidence
instead of judging it with no evidence

I like how everybody is absolutely sure this will eventually get implemented in a CFW. I think I read the same thing a few times about the Cobra dongle a while ago.

As for this whole thing, I do hope it's real, although if you can't play the originals but have to re-burn them with some kind of a "fix" to make them playable then the whole thing is really, REALLY inconvenient. I'd live with the fact that I can't backup my games and play them off HDD and that's okay but considering the prices of BD burners and blank media, being a pirate gets really close (financially) to bying legit games.
