seeing all the footage and how this story is progressing reminds me of the original jailbreak so yes i do believe it but am i going to buy maybe not. it seems like a first early step in a long line of future updates and revisions. you cant play original games and im not sure if you can load from a usb or copy to a usb yet. so im going to wait unless the price is very reasonable but i guess the shipping is gonna kill.

It is always best to be one OFW before installing new CFW. He just did not do that. Kinda like mixing vodka and red bull. It says not to on the can, but it is much better if you do.

So..was that a real downgrade shown in the video or not ? If it was a spoofed 3.55 then ..yeah..there would be no problem entering recovery mode and installing whatever 3.55 superduper edition made with ps3mfw

Original game cannot be played for the obvious reason the param.sfo of it require fw 3.60+. You can see that the inserted disc is not original on the new video when he opened the multiman and the disc was recognised as Data Disc and not as a PS3 game. So there are two theories:
1) The burned game disc has just modified param.sfo to accept 3.55 fw and all the work is done by the dongle and the modified fw
or
2)Burn game disc has except param.sfo and other modified files which i believe can be used with backup managers in order to play from hdd and the dongle the only thing it does is to allow instant ps3 game launch from game icon. This can be easily traced if someone has the burned disc and the original disc of it and compare all file md5 hashes.

I still don't believe 100% the story till someone sceener has it on his hands though.
