as you can see, there are multiple differences. The tip with the "big dot" in the corner could help, if the dot would be visible in any one of the pictures in the tutorial pdf, which it isn't :-(

Has anyone heard of progskeet solderless flasher yet, or if it is out yet. It seems to be a better concept, and easier to use.

) same with me man. i broken 2 ps3 for this ps3 fist one got 2 beep affter flash e3_downgrade.bin. 2rd got the same error. Some time can't read the nand even ps3 can power well affter install e3. Allway got error not correct ps3 backup ....

did you backup onto a TF Card? it says in the operation guide to backup onto a TF card and copy the backup onto your computer so if you get any errors flashing the console you can restore it and that way you always have a backup

some of the 2000 series boards have the nor turned 90 degrees so the clip wont fit properly :P

They should have thought about this in advance so for time being your fuct if you have one of these boards with the e3 flasher

I'm glad I could cancel my E3 Flasher preorder just in time. I was worried about not being able to buy it since it's a limited version so I rushed to preorder it before it was too late. After that, I start wondering about the risks of being an early adopter. Also, the lack of useful information, poor English and non-professional feel on their website started to scare me. But then they announced the lack of a dual bios function on this first version, so I promptly requested the cancellation of my order.

Now I have my hopes on the Progskeet guys. At least they don't seem to announce things they can't do as a finished product and seem very professional. Or maybe a more mature and extensively tested version of the E3 Flasher.

I wish I could speak my mind about the E3 team, but I really dont think an infraction is worth the price of freedom of speech/expression. I feel sorry for all the people that got jipped, I also feel sorry for all the retailers that bought into the E3 teams crap only to be lead on just like the consumer crowd. Lesson learned eh boys?
