hopes it any use. im downloading the firmware incase it gets taken down but im not going to install it unless someone confirms it safe.

The guy posting there has posted here that he does not even have the dongle but on that site says he has it.

i was on another ps3 site and a member uploaded the eboot for one of the games. (Driver)its the eboot from the bluraydisk. What im getting is there saying that the jailbreak 2 team "Decrypted and used there own keys."

It's up to you to believe or not. I just want to share it, and I hope some dev can check that CFW.

How do you not know if its real like you claimed earlier in this thread but yet claim it is on the other?

If you want people to believe you need to show continuity in your claims. Also why not post a vid of any other confirmed games running?

Well either way I have a bad feeling about this... If this is indeed real, there are 2 solutions :

1/ The dongle contains the newer keys, and uses them to decrypt newer games. Someone will reverse their dongle, release the keys, nobody will buy their dongle anymore, and as a result they won't update it with newer keys.

2/ The dongle contains a custom keyset, used to decrypt modded eboots that the team release themselves. Someone reverses the dongle, release the keys to decrypt those EBOOTs, nobody will buy their dongle anymore, and they will stop releasing new patched EBOOTs.

I think it's best to just stick with original games on a second PS3 until another exploit is released. If we screw with them, they will screw with us much worse.

IF its real:

First off, you are damn right no one will buy it. these guys try to make money off piracy. as soon some dev makes thier work into a downloadable cfw they are dead and should consider going into the fishing business. that being said the ps3 scene is known to be lazy but once something like this comes up it manages to make it work.

Even if no one will be able to make a cfw off this, how many people would really buy it?. BR are expensive as **** and who can promise they will be able to decrypt all the new games?...people will just keep waiting.

if the dongle is real what about this , the only thing on the ps3 that can decypte 3.6x+ stuff is the root key , so what if the dongle/cfw has got some type program thats run the root key from you ps3 to beable to use 3.6x+ games

If it is real we should buy it. If innovation is not rewarded then why should people take the time to make stuff like this for us. Capitalism does have it's place.

i would buy it if games were bootable from hd
