Hey guys, I have an old phat model cechgxxxx (i think, with the 256 mb nand) and I am wanting to try and fix it. Problem is I can't find an infectus chip for sale anywhere and the progskeet tutorial is only for slim consoles. I can't find instructions on how to use progskeet on the older phat models. Could anyone point me in the right direction, I've been searching forums for the past hour and can't find what I'm looking for. Is there any way that Sony could tell if I just have them fix it? I have another ps3 so its not a huge deal, I just remembered i have it in the garage and its taking up space.
Alternatively, if anyone knows if there is a repair shop in the Pittsburgh area, I would prefer to have someone else do it as my soldering skills suck. thanks Last edited by ringnutz; 10-22-2011 at 11:28 PM. |

Unless gitbrew is some magical new way to make the ps3 come back to life, that won't work... With the waninkoko brick, lv1 and lv2 are completely borked, meaning no USB power, no blue-ray, nothing
