Yes, but by testing only the voltage and temperatures, you can't blame the FW... You COULD, if the increase and decrease of voltage corresponds with certain actions. For example; if the voltage goes down or stays the same when stressing the PS3, then you could consider blaming the FW.

The fact is that as I increased firmwares, the temperature where the fan speed increased kept going up...you could almost say that maybe in some theoretical way they had a programming issue...except one firmware dropped the temperature slightly after the previous firmware increased it significantly...obviously they realized they went too far too fast and backed off just a little for a short time. One other thing...if what I published wasn't true, Sony would have lawyers trying to get me to take it down. But since I posted the truth, they know they would lose a court battle, and that by bringing it to court, they would be shining a bright spotlight onto something that is currently lurking in the shadows...so they just ignore it knowing that most people will never see it. |
