No report yet that this thing work and can only be use with one ps3...

Resellers should stop selling this and should offer refund for those who ordered... why would they sell a product that rarely works? It will give them more headaches than profits with customers complaining...

I emailed them right after my last post which was 9 hrs ago, still no answer yet. Asked them if it could only be used on 1 console and if it had to remain installed for the console to work properly, and also what fw's could be used.

If you can successfully downgrade, you can remove the flasher. And the ONLY Firmware you can use is theirs. (Which lets you install any manager you'd like - as they say)

hi all,
i manage to jailbreak my ps3 OFW version 3.72 to CFW 3.55 ( 3.70 faked).

it really take alot of patient and research to carefully and slowly to perform the installation.
i have:
1) wait for the E3 flasher for 1 month.
2) read the clip installation manual and read the operational manual for 1 month.....
3) buy a TF card (2GB)
4) buy a ps3 jailbreak dongle (and reflash with ps3 downgrade mode -the mode that allow ps3 system to enter factory service mode)
5) get 3 usb pen driver (fully formatted, and only contain the:
i) Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP from step 1 (i label the pen drive with 1)
ii) Lv2diag.self from step 2 ( i label the pen driver with 2)
iii) BDEMU-355KM.pkg,multiMAN BASE.pkg,and multiMAN UPDATE.pkg . (i label with 3)
6) during the clip installation, the clip must i mean MUST press really hard to make sure the pin is completely contact with the chip on board.
7) installation of the softboard to the e3 flasher board (i am really have no ball to remove it out once it have been clipped on the e3 flasher board, so, during my reopen of the ps3 board, i just REMAIN the e3 flasher board on the hdd bay, just carefully look after it only)
8) finally, ask someone to help you. its better don do it alone.

God...I didn't think it would get any worse than it was...I figured it would at least work with one or two PS3 models, but it appears this isn't the case...did the E3 guys even test this with a single PS3 model before selling them? 99% of their customers are complaining?

After 8 pages of posts, we only have one person confirming it working...NORway has a much better success rate even with a soldering iron, a board never designed for such tasks, and a cost under $30 shipped!

Also, is it just me, or is the front board the wrong size? Looking at the images from skyraven, it appears that you can't even set the system horizontally because the board is too big. I guess we will add "removes horizontal support" and "makes the system look like crap" to the list of grievances.

Come to think of it, skyraven's pictures don't actually prove anything...I am not calling him a liar or anything...but he only has a single post and the images could be easily faked by using the same method used to make 3.55CFW report as 3.70...this isn't proof.
