Probably your external hdd, I had one dying for me too.. in its last days, it transferred with 2MB/s

Hope Dean is enjoying a well earned break from the scene, last time he took a break he returned with some excellent new features. I recall a few weeks ago he said he was going to strip down and re-write a lot of the code. I'm definitely looking forward to that release. Lets hope things progress with the new JB2 exploit and it can be worked into a CFW, and eventually multiMAN support for newer games. That would be ace.

It sure gets lonely round here when Dean is away - The posts almost come to a stand still. I miss just reading about new additions, let alone experiencing them!!

Ya I bet we do not see Dean until he is ready to roll out a new version of multiMAN. (3.00.00 maybe?) Could be another month.

i just have instaled cfw 3.41 hermes and the psx games worked just well...

That sounds like a USB Controller (of the enclosure or docking station) failure/bug. It sounds like it can't work under the profile of USB 2.0 so instead it goes USB 1.1. I had that with a bad quality enclosure. It's now dead.

Im going to disagree with previous posts and tell you your drive is fine ! If its anything like overlord 1 its because it has a very large number of small files which take a lot longer to transfer than few large files.
