Ha i wish I had the patience to paint a controller like that. I bought that skin when I got my first ps3. looked good in the pictures.

hey man, i'm curious about what kind of paint did you use to spray those cases... and, did you sand them before painting? Please let me know the details, i might make one for me : )

Hey sorry I took so long to get back... my bad.

I used a spray paint called 'Plasticaot' Its just a standard plastic paint comes in spray cans costing about 8-10euro.

I sanded first yes, using a high grade sand paper (400)

Then a coat of plastic primer

Followed by a few coats of paint (sanding between each coat)

And last I used a clear lacquer to put a shine on it.

For the flip paint (pearlesent) ps3 and xbox the paint was for a car. but same steps as above (lacquer is essential with flip). Although for one spray can of flip cost me 80euro.

I got myself another ps3 3.55kmeaw and its a 60GB phat, launch model.
has anyone got any suggestions or ideas on what to do it like?

I have a few ideas myself but would love to hear your suggestions?

You could add a thermal monitoring and management system to it. If you are really up for some coding, you could make a standalone version of DIYPS3Controller and flush-mount a touchscreen in the top of the PS3 to control it.
