We still need other "things" before we can do "anything". It is not that after we have a console key, we automatically have the masterkey.

No, but the devs think that it could be possible to get the master key, based on how the PS3 does things at that stage.

If you have the master key, anything is possible. This is not hype but truth. Whether this method can get the master key and whether devs will make the stuff available, is another matter, but the way of finding the per console key is out.

Besides that, I remember to have read that gitbrew had their per console key since around june/july. Did something come from it after all these months? No. The only new thing today is that it has been made public today, nothing more.

When I say master, I mean per_console_root_key_0. The one we can get is: per_console_root_key_1 / EID_root_key. If I read correctly, then we can also get per_console_root_key_2 / EID0_key.

The per console key is unique to the console, so having gitbrews key means nothing.
