"Remote file is too large."
Something wrong with avatars. When I insert the URL to an avatar I'd like to use, I get the message "Remote file is too large."
This message is popping up to the same exact avatars I'd used previously so I know it's an error or glitch or some kind, OR @Pirate changed something that I'm totally unaware of. EDIT: I don't want to use the "Browse" option to upload an avatar because it degrades the quality so much. |

I too had that problem. I fixed it by saving the image to my desktop and then by using the upload function. Worked like a boss!

I used the Browse option when I upload. I too am getting the remote file too large error when I try to upload the image, via the url option

I had that same issue but I did what iDelete did and it worked.

There are file size and file image dimension limits...you have to be below these limits...being right at them throws an error.

when you upload from using the browse method it will reduce the file size which in turn lowers the quality but it cant do that from a url i believe, so the choice is smaller avatar or lower quality unless it gets changed
