Someone(mods) should be in charge of the trades and verification. That way we can avoid "he said, she said" drama(proof or not). No DRAMA no HEADACHES and non of these threads.

I hope that wasn't offensive, just saying.

Its not the mods job to hold people's hands throught the b/s/t and/or the game sharing process.

People know the risks they take when doing these types of things with a total stranger. At least they ban the scammer so they won't scam again on these forums.

Exactly.
We are not babysitting people.
I detest the gamesharing section but it has to happen somewhere right?

No way in hell am I prepared to hold the hands of those being cheap.
You want free games you take your chances and suck it up when things go sour

I say we should just do away with the PSN gamesharing section. Its causing too much drama and disruption. Especially for those who don't know how to read the rules and know the dangers of scam/con artists that are there. People should learn to READ THE RULES. I write this in caps because its what most people fail to do in the gamesharing section.

i would agree but it would still happen via pm and in unrelated forum sections messing the place up.

it may be a pain to moderate but i would rather do this than allow our members to be ripped off blindly.
we do care about our members, even the cheap ones.........just dont expect us to be happy about doing it, thats all..

We need trusted traders to take roles of middle men in trades to make sure no one gets ripped off. Since moderators don't seem to want to help with that

I don't understand why they would need to.

They're not babysitters, they won't get any compensation from being the middleman.

If you want to gameshare you know the risks involved. There's threads upon threads about beware of this guy, he scammed me and you people still gameshare.

Also, having a middleman involved seems like it would make the process a huge pain for all involved.

It's a valid idea, and trust me mate, the Mods Do want to help, but it wouldn't work as even the traders with the best intentions rarely follow the steps from A to Z. Add to that the fact that when a trade goes wrong and you try to help them personally, it's a 50/50 toss of the coin whether they thank you are slag you off for your help (I have been there and done it lol).

In the end it's all about trust and noone can monitor that more than the Mods are doing already. They police the trade forums and get rid of scammers as soon as they can and life ban ones that are proven to be cons, but even that can be gotten round by IP masking etc if the scammer wants to have another go.

maybe you should implement a feedback system (wasn't there one at one point?).
As for the "middleman" service, mods can EDIT: quickly check if new users have slots left and if they have the games they say they have on a website I won't name here, cos it's been used for scams.
