Well, the bluray drive works. I put it back in my OFW ps3 and it fires right up. I toss in Dark Souls and it loads fine. It wouldnt make sense that I would have a bad logic board on my Bluray drive, yet it would work fine in my other ps3. Not to mention, I dont even want to have a bluray drive in this ps3, I just want to run games off its internal HDD.

You only need to use fix permisions option in multiman, long ago i have the same problem, and fix it with fix permisions

Yeah, The wanininganaina (or w/e) kmeaw fix permissions, I have installed that. it installs fine, I find it in the games menu, when i try and run it, it black screens. Same with Multiman, Gaia, comgeniesawsomefileprogram.

I didn´t instal fix permisions, that option was built with multiman, and yes you find it in the games menu, another option is copy the game to another folder( with multiman example (bdrips) or (Gamez or Games) then you select the game that you copy and try to play.

I can NOT open Multiman. It black screens. Thus, I can do nothing with Multiman. The rest of the motherboard looks fine also. I dont see any bad connections or anything. MF'er, this is frustrating.

Well, as I am not sure where to go from here, I thought that perhaps something went wonky with the reflow, so Im doing that again.

Well I am at a loss. Reflow changed nothing. Everything works fine except launching any apps. Black screen. It almost seems like a video issue. The screen goes dark black after launching an app, then it goes to a lighter shade of black, after the prog trys to start and just sits there...

Do I need a bluray drive with a disc in it to run normal apps like multiman from internal hdd?

when you replace a logic board in the ps3 it has to be re married to the mother board.

So do i need the bluray drive to be in the ps3 with a disc in it to run apps like multiman?
