maybe theres away to edit update
1- install GameData tool 2- run the game with internet connection update it and u will find the update in ext hdd and mod it

I just found another fix ,but it does not say this dev here .. it is by ( iND ) this could very well be same one just renamed ..only way is to hope it has a NFO

What if someone can post a pdf with Drake's Journal? So everybody in spite of the game freeze can consult it drake's journal on his computer. Maybe could make a flash app/html page so the journal "evolves" (not spoiling anything) as it was through the game with sections like: chapter-level 1, 2, 3, 4.... what do you think?
