Honestly, but why though? What the hell is the point of a dev doing this? Just to be a bastard? If so that is really childiish, what is everyone like a 12yr old 7334 haX0r or something? Why is there such a difference between the two? If you want to knnow anything about that system, i can point you right to a nic newb friendly tut, source code, and ANY tool you may need to accomplish what you want, why cant this scene, community, and devs get it together and take note? I just really dont understand the reasoning, am I missing something? Im not flaming, or trolling the topic, I really want to know if there is a valid reason for 90% of the bull****.

Actually moogie really did leak that Eboot, it didn't originally come from him, he got kicked from a couple groups after the leak happened.

Finally uncharted 3 using that eboot on 3.55 and lower is rather buggy, people should buy the game, it's a damn good one.
As far as I am concerned I just bought the game (shops don't tend to respect street dates much over here) and I don't even remotely care about that leak or the drama that's been going on in the private chan that eboot came from.

Leaking something HE signed himself, something that was never going to be released, i don't consider it a leak when you patched it yourself.

Well it's not hard to use geohot's makeself when you're given a fself. That's pretty much the only part of his work (typing "make_self_npdrm EBOOT.elf EBOOT.BIN"), it wasn't my Eboot by the way, which is why I don't care so much about this.

i just dont see why there is all the drama over this eboot its not like he released(or leaked what ever you want to call it) something of importance. i find it funny all these people are getting butt hurt over this and to kick some one out of your "groups" over it is childish. i have never seen so much drama in my life. there should not be these "groups" in a scene. keeping things secret hinders progress and is childish

i dont have a ps3 anymore as sony can eat a dick and if i did it would be pointless to have it on cfw that is going no were as people hide things. if i want homebrew i will use my wii

I'd like to believe in the good intentions of the person(s) behind this, but the fact of the matter is, with all the development into debug machines, we haven't even seen debug eboots pop up anywhere, it took this whole JB2 scheme to see the first ones, and those are even encrypted with custom keys.

People can slam moogie all they want, but he gave us the means to play a new game on 3.55. At the very worst, everything will remain the same and no other games will be made playable, just as things are right now. At best, this will spurt other devs into releasing their work.

Whether this particular dev was actually good intentioned or not, what moogie said about the ps3 scene is still true, it would advance much faster if the ones in the know disclosed their work, and there would be no need or incentive for going behind someone's back. All the white knight dev groupies should do well to remember that, instead of enduring their abusive relationship.

clearly moogie was just a tester and it would have been released in a couple of days after the bugs had been worked out.. a real shame that now it won't be fixed correctly.. you can all thank moogie for that :P
