I'm sick of my PS3 not waking me up in the morning with a nice cup of tea and a bacon butty. In fact, I'm disgusted that there are no devs working on this at the minute, what selfish A********!!! In fact (x2) I believe that a dev out there has already worked out how to do this and is holding it back. Selfish B*******!!!

Yes, it is, I've actually found out that you can even output a game at a higher resolution nativelly than the ones the game are built for without upscalling (not the SFO method) but I'm not sure how you can do it without PS3 hanging or without kicking you back to XMB with an error or atleast at a playable state. It seems that there are many attributes in the EBOOTs, deank found the ones responsible for Snapshots and Music in the background so his BD/DVD backed-up games add these abilities to games that even don't allow such thing.
I think there is an attribute also for 3D rendering but since I don't have yet a 3D TV I wouldn't be able to test it. Remember that those attributes are depended on the SDK that the game was built, attributes that are from firmwares that are not on the SDK that were built are missing, you would need to add them yourself in some way I'm not at all sure how... I'm yet to understand why isn't that yet possible, I can think of a couple ways that it can be done, not in the same way as a PSP but still can be done. One idea that I'm sure it's possible it's load the cheats/modifications while mounting the game via multiMan. I think it's because of developer's (generally speaking) prejudice against cheat machines... That actually sucks, I'm in neeeeed for reasearch of unused stuff in games... Also model swaps and such stuff add way more replay value to games, it's such a pitty to not exist. XMB modification is actually also possible, if you mean themes (static/dynamic) or even the wave. I would like to see something like replacing the online manuals with a restart PS3 function...
