yeah but that would require me taking out the HDD formatting it through the pc and than updating it again and i didn't get to backup my PS3 HDD... and i got it to work so am happy and am putting it back on OFW right now looks like it won't work for me... unfortunantely

the last times that you tried to flash the cfw did you try to do it from recovery or the xmb ? also you might have more luck flashing rebug.

i did it through xmb i believe cause it said i could do it either through xmb or recovery menu

yes you usually can but if your having trouble i would suggest you try it from recovery menu.

yes you can use this method to play "PSN" games. you will load them on to a usb stick and then install them on the ps3 via the install pkg files.
