Hello everyone/Rogero, would you please tell me what is the step to put your CFW and this 8.5 ver on my new int hdd? I see on the tut there was in 2008/9.
Mine is slim 120gb with ps3ITA 3.55 Kmeaw base. I WILL upgrade it to 750gb internal. I want to keep my back up and saved games (only) from my int and ext hdd to my new 750gb internal. In short, I want to put your new cfw, Rogero 8.5 ver, my back up games and saved games (some are in my int and others in ext hdd) to my system with new 750gb int hdd. Also, do I need to put bdemu2 and fix permission thingy later on? Thanks....
Hello,
1- Backup your Game Saves from the Ps3 Settings, there is an option to Backup all your saves/profile to a USB memory/Drive

2- Try to Copy your Games from the internal to another external HDD before you remove your 120GB internal HDD, because you won't be able to copy them later.

3- Remove the 120GB HDD and install the new 750GB in the PS3, it will ask you to insert a USB with a Firmware 3.55 or highter, that's when you can use my CFW V2 on your USB and press Select+Start to install it.

4- Once the CFW is installed, now you can proceed by installing Rogero Manager v8.5 ( for Rogero Manager v8.5 you don't need to install Permissions Fix or Bdemu or any other package , but if you use multiMAN then you'll need to install Bdemu2.pkg or multiMAN won't be able to load the Games unless you Run Rogero Manager before then multiMAN)

I hope this will help.
Cheers

rogero,

about otheros++, who is the author of the original patches? do you have any idea why it corrupts trophies?

also, i have this ROM installed:

MD5 (Rogero+MFW355_370_spoof_Internet_Blocked_LV1_Checks_Patched.PUP) = 09357763f3a52a393ecef4fe392325d4

what is the difference from your latest version?

No idea about OtherOs++ and I never tried it too...

the difference between the MFW v1 you're using and the CFW V2 are:

- V1 had some problems with Downgrading, V2 is so stable for downgrading.
- V1 had the Privacy patch while V2 don't have it (internet fully working)

other then this, u won't find anything different from usage point of view.
