da braucht man kein save file da gibts schon nen fix keine freeze mehr!

Uncharted.3.PROPER.FIX.KMEAW355.READNFO-Nobody

Follow these steps IN ORDER:

(1) Extract all .psarc's into the folder they are already in and then delete them on your HDD.

When you're done it should look like this:

..\USRDIR\build\main\actor33\
..\USRDIR\build\main\bin\dc1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\misc1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\movie1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\pak23\
..\USRDIR\build\main\text1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\vtex1\

(2) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.

(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included.

(4) Transfer to your PS3, launch in Multiman.

(5) PROFIT.

100% WORKING FIX
- No Freezing
- Journal Works

There are some errors in the original NFO. Guess it was written super quick.

These are the updated instructions which address 2 issues,
1) The MAIN subdirectory was not included in the archive
2) It is MOVIE1 not MOVIES1

Follow these steps IN ORDER:

(1) Extract all .psarc's into the folder they are already in and then delete them on your HDD.

When you're done it should look like this:

..\USRDIR\build\main\actor33\
..\USRDIR\build\main\bin\dc1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\misc1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\movie1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\pak23\
..\USRDIR\build\main\text1\
..\USRDIR\build\main\vtex1\

(2) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.

(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included.

(4) Transfer to your PS3, launch in Multiman.

For the Ultra Noobs:

the *.psarc file is nothing more than an archive for more files. It has a ton of files inside it. The person who engineered this fix is asking you to extract the contents of the *.psarc file into the same directory that that *.psarc file is already in. You can then safely delete the PSARC files.

How do you extract the *.psarc?
This torrent includes PSARC.exe which will help you extract the contents of the PSARC file.

IMPORTANT!
There is two failures in the quickly written .nfo:
- Correct directory path is ..USRDIR\build\main\... (missed the main subdir)
- Correct directory name is "movie1" (not movies1)

no ya gettin me wrong gimitesh, yesterday before this fix came out!, i had to split the main psarc file into 3 parts so it would go onto an ext hardrive, as anything over 4gb wont go onto fat 32 ext drive.
Do we need the main 8gb + pak23.psarc file to be as 1 fileagain?
