Could anyone confirm this method works on the EUR version of the game.

Also, I downloaded a ripped version of the game (only 23GB instead of 45GB), can anyone confirm this method will work with this ripped version?

I used a clean version, followed instructions, used fix v4, works as normal, journal works, no freezes, animation correct, I play from external drive, BDMirror in Multiman, no disc, on 3.55

I cut out all languages but english, and all the 3d stuff.

Most people have already split the big file.. so

That doesn't help in extracting data at all, which needs to be done with PSARC on the PC.

I ended up doing

cmd.exe COPY /B data.66601+data.66602+data.666.03 data (can be done ad infinitum depending on the amount of files you have)

I think that the split up file does not work, thats why its said use a clean copy, backup, or dl.
If you want you can rip it afterwards from languages and 3d movies.

If you start from a clean copy, un "psarc" al the *.psarc files, after that delete the *.psarc files.

Copy the USRDIR you downloaded and say yes to all merging and copy and replace mesages. and you should be good to go.

The loading with the ring, takes around 45 seconds so be patient.

Well ive joined the main psarc file back together,and have run it through psarc.exe, transferring to ext drive now,ends up over 11gb, ilreport back if it works



EDIT: Works flawlessly, journal opens, all sorted!! follow the youtube video tut. If you have a split psarc file on ext fat 32 drive(where game is), use open split program to join them back together, run the big psarc file through psarc.exe, then put the whole folder back where it was, wiping the split files after...job done

i ran every small psarc file through psarc.exe, missing none!!, noone shld have any probs if they followed the youtube guide

Here's the 100% working fix to Uncharted 3! (for KMEAW 3.55 CFW) Nobody

Follow these steps IN ORDER:

(1) Extract all .psarc's into the folder they are already in and then delete them on your HDD.

When you're done it should look like this:

..\USRDIR\build\actor33\ ..\USRDIR\build\bin\dc1\ ..\USRDIR\build\misc1\ ..\USRDIR\build\movies1\ ..\USRDIR\build\pak23\ ..\USRDIR\build\text1\ ..\USRDIR\build\vtex1\

(2) Now, merge included USRDIR folder with the existing one where you extracted your psarcs. OVERWRITE all files when prompted.

(3) Replace the EBOOT.BIN with the one included.

(4) Transfer to your PS3, launch in Multiman.

(5) PROFIT.
