OMG it doens't work. My game wont load anymore. I get into the game, but as soon as I continue my previous game I get stuck on loading screen.

the mistake people make is splitting the psarc file. don't do it. it's easier to use psarc.exe.

some ppl already have from yesterday though fella to run from external, but open split sorts tht out and joins it back together, then can run through psarc.exe, then the spit out folder goes back where the split ones are(which u thenwipe), now the psarc folder is over 11gb, but will go onto a fat32 ext hd. Its working fine with journal on my ps3 from external...thx for ya youtube tut dablkman, really helped

you don't, what you are merging is the folder that was created with psarc.exe to the folder that that is in the fix.

you dont split that one, and you dont need to split any unless you split the main pak23.psarc from yesterday
once u runthe pak23.psarc big file through, program psarc.exe, it goes onto a fat32 drive easily as its different format now

So the new method worked for me on external HDD and 3.41. Really long loading times because of external, but it runs ok.

Still I have a problem - not all sounds are present. Like crashing, banging etc. In movies also some dialogues and doors closing are not there also, just ambient sound. Does anybody else have this problem? What could it be?

game loading could be lagging due to being run from external...transfer to internal see if this helps
