I almost updated for this game Now I dont have to. I will be going to pick up my copy very soon now And all this talk I have seen about torrents and extracting kind of makes me sad. This series is great and the devs deserve the support.

This works on eternal on rebug, however I noticed that the loading is a bit sluggish.

You need to download mono (Open source .net framework) install and then use like this in Terminal:

mkdir pak23
cd pak23
mono ../PSARC.exe ../pak23.psarc

Then, since OSX doesn't have the "rename" command (which is absolutely fantastic, thanks..) you'll need to use Automator to remove the 'pak23\' from the front of each file and plonk them into the 'pak23' directory. All done!

Amazing work As asked by another member, does this need the original eboot fix first and THEN this fix? Or can you just use this fix alone?

After having success, I finished a section of chapter 9 and now lan and loading my game freezes ;/ any ideas?

if i already did the first fix (the one that freeze when you open the journal) do i need to restore the eboot and camera.txt before doing this new method? or is it you have to do the first fix and after follow it with this new fix? TIA

Try change system language in xmb to English. It helps for me.

Fix working,
But loading is so slow and in game textures are TOO slow ,the screen get white and back to normal after some sekonds in fast running bits, so i past chapter 11, save and put back orginal files. Now game speed back to normal...
