ps3 controller on pc?

at one time i found instructions how to get the ps3 remote to work with pc games. But i cant remember how i got it to work. I have tried looking online and have found many instructions and followed them but i cant seem to get it to work. How do i play pc games using my ps3 remote as a gamepad? thanks!

The only way I found to make it work reliable had the nasty side-effect of disabling EVERY OTHER USB DEVICE attached. It might work better using a BT dongle...never tried.

when i was having my ps3 repaired i was forced to use pc to play games and the controller was an issue for me. i found a program i think was called "motion joy" and it worked wired perfectly for free.

I swear I just plugged mine in and win7 installed drivers without a problem. I'll double check tomorrow though.

motioninjoy = ds3 tools, it can be a little buggy, but it works great,
it let windows thinks that you are plugin a xbox360 controller so a LOT of games support xbox360 controller, the ONLY thing is is on a different button then the 360, so you get confused if you need split second timing, but you will get used to it
