Well, Uncharted 3 is just a straight up eboot swap (and a little more to get it to stop freezing). That eboot is one the uses 3.55 keys whereas the original used 3.7X. Duplex's method for Battlefield 3 is different. There is no eboot to swap, all you do is run two package files, a crack package and a 1.01 game update package. This is a lot more similar to their PSN releases which require a crack package and an install package.

Also keep in mind that BF3 was released on the PSN store in the UK I believe. So Duplex may have used the same method to get it to work as they use for the PSN game releases. If this is the case, then games that are not on the PSN, probably will not have fixes.

i can confirm kmart in mentor, ohio was selling the game as of 11/02/11. They thought it was the release date lol. they took down everyones name incase they got sued though.

Games usually get leaked online because the smaller game shops usually accept bribes. The people who run those shops don't care and if they see someone offering $200-300 dollars for a $60 dollar game, they'll just take it.

Of course there are other ways games get leaked; stolen from warehouses, stolen from trucks, etc..

sadly duplex can only crack psn games but modern warfare 3 is not a psn game like bf3

some people from ps3 dev scene could probably eboot fix this with debug eboot or other way but as its not an exclusive sony-game i doubt they ever will

so time to update your 3.55 to OFW and then you can also play mw3 online! that game alone should keep one busy for months!

so how did they crack UC3? or did they?
