I'm gonna check this out, I remember playing this game on my Amiga 500 about, ehhhhh 20 years ago, OMG, I'm to old.

nice , i'm gonna give both your ports a try later just for the extras :D i was just wondering why we cant have the game/music files pre-packed? i know another world is still sold for pc but thats a hd remake. and all the the bits that your port needs is more like a very good original hybrid.

For Another World, Eric Chahi, the creator of this beautiful game, is still very vigilant regarding to remake engines. As the data files are his own property, i prefer not to include them.
Flashback follows the same logic. I know it's not very pleasant to have to transfer data files via FTP, but it is still possible to create your own pre-packed pkg from source by copying the required data files in the "data" folder before compiling and building the pkg (that's what i do personally). |
