hey..
i followed crack instructions and it runs and all.. a bit slower i guess.. i think the ring spinning loading times should be much quicker between some cut scenes.. but i aint sure, just referring as i remember what was other uncharted games like

BUT I do have lots of bugs.. anyone fall through the floor yet? or have blood splatter effect from distance look like a block of red..
i just had my save game act on me where i had a corridor which led to nowhere, the world map was screwed and i could only jump through to fall to my death.. i tried quitting to menu and loading etc and NOTHING, i had to quit the game and it was fixed.. but i ahve tons of bugs already..

not sure if its from the game or this release

have you got psarc.exe and zlibb.net.dll files in the folder your trying to do the process, because they need to b, delete both files after uve extracted the psarcs

that sounds like a hell off a lot off bugs there, have you got the file structure right, ? sounds like you have files in wrong place there or done something wrong

I'm seriously starting to think that no one actually reads posts on this forum.

u2-journal-lod0 is the only file that needs replacing. That means you only need to extract the actor33.psarc into a folder, replace that file and delete the psarc, not extract or delete any of the other psarcs.

A big clue is in the name u2-journal-lod0, you know, since the journal is crashing.

Oh, and you still need the fixed camera.txt and fixed eboot. Hopefully the underlined and bold will help people understand what I'm saying...

So all that crap off extracting all the psarcs, changing this and that, and all it needed doing was one psarc file, eboot and camera.txt....figures lol!!!

You do not need the fixed camera.exe if you use the new fix.

Yes I did this. I tried extracting it with two different computers and got the same results.... I just locks up when I try to launch game and does nothing....

It's mono ./psarc.exe ./pak23.psarc

And it's not so straight-forward as apparently psarc.exe is very dumb (hard codes path separator! wtf). Will post a clean mac friendly .sh here in a few min...
BTW rename on mac is mv; google is ur friend.

Mac install script works beautifully, am now transferring result to HDD, just to be sure it works haha

It's a big game, so will take a little while. After success, will post the full installer here for any other Mac users... (that's right!)

yeah ive done everything correctly thats for sure!

Ahhh.. about this new crack.. i cant play from external if i wont extract the psarcs right? there is a 8gb file there! i never tried iris manager? but what do u think is better?
