I had this issue with my PS1. Took it to the Philippines to give to my relos over there (they haven't been graced with the privileged that i have) and the picture became all fuzzy.

It's a hardware issue although you may need to set up your ps3 to output at the lowest possible resolution.

Try plugging your ps3 into a Tv or monitor that works and adjust the settings. It will be trial and error but depending how old your TV is, some of the hardware which uses the Y'B'R plugs might be buggered.

When you say old TV, do you mean like a CRT TV of just older than your new LCD?

You probably have to turn down the resolution...the "RGB" plugs support 1080i, but most old TVs don't.

You might have to try changing the resolution settings. Use the lowest setting to see if it works.

That is like plug it into a TV that works and change the settings, then plug it into your flatron and see if anything comes up.

Hold down the power button till you hear two beeps, that should reset the video settings on your PS3 and should in theory allow your TV to display output.
